I’m graphic designer, brand designer, illustrator, storyteller and DIY enthusiast.

I graduated Michigan State University with a B.A. in Art and a Concentration in Graphic Design. I began my career at an alternative newspaper, creating layouts, managing websites and illustrating cover art. The bright lights of the city called, and I packed my bags for Chicago to pursue a more challenging design career.

I have since been working in Chicago for 8 years and have worked at the Gettys Group where I helped launch their brand department and was a creative force behind much of the group’s best and most creative brand identity and brand experience work. I also worked at Gensler where I helped push environment graphic design and create identities for office and hospitality spaces.

I enjoy shaping and defining the guest experience and understand the importance of each guest touch point from beginning to end. To keep my skills sharp I have taken classes such as improv, screen printing and coding. I am inspired by people, illustration, art, stories, day-dreaming, dogs, the outdoors, cities, discovering new in the familiar, patterns, disruptors, music, good jokes, bad jokes, podcasts, and adventure. Let’s make something great.
